Current
NRC-SIMS Research Projects
1) The design and characterization of novel nano- and microporous materials
applications in energy, environmental and health care (gas storage,
gas separation, delivery of drugs and cosmetics, contrast agents).
2) Nanomaterials the effect of confinement on the physical properties
of materials applications to quantum dots, nanowires, novel forms of
drugs.
3) Gas hydrates characterization of natural gas hydrate recovered
from locations around the world; fundamental studies on hydrate formation
and accumulation - applications to energy, climate change, geohazards.
4) Technique development novel methods for the characterization
of complex solid materials multitechnique approaches for the study
of structure and dynamics in solids (more).
